Can this lane evaluate new chest pain?

No. This lane never evaluates new chest pain. It only supports patients already evaluated in person and diagnosed with costochondritis. New, different, or exertional chest pain is always an emergency — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

What if my chest pain feels different now?

Any change from the pain that was evaluated needs a new in-person evaluation, not this follow-up lane.

What does ongoing care look like?

Avoiding aggravating strain and posture, heat for 15 minutes several times daily, gentle doorway stretches and shoulder-blade squeezes, and acetaminophen or topical diclofenac gel as the label directs.
