Do I have to treat my whole household?

Yes — scabies and lice spread easily, so everyone in the household (and close contacts) should be treated at the same time, even if they aren't itchy yet, and bedding/clothing should be laundered or bagged.

Why do I still itch after treatment?

Itching from scabies can last 2-4 weeks after the mites are gone because your skin is still reacting. That alone doesn't mean treatment failed, but see a clinician if a new rash or clear re-infestation appears.

When does this need in-person care?
