Accessibility

Accessibility Statement.

QuickVisitMD is committed to accessible digital care for every adult we serve in Virginia and West Virginia.

Effective April 15, 2026 · Last updated April 21, 2026

QuickVisitMD targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the conformance standard for this website, the patient portal, and the intake flow.

What we build toward

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks on every public page.
  • Color contrast and typography meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 AA ratios.
  • Full keyboard navigability with visible focus states and skip-to-content links.
  • Descriptive alt text for informative images.
  • Labels and error messages associated with every form field.
  • English and Spanish parity for public and static content.
  • Screen-reader testing on intake, portal, and records-request flows.

Feedback and alternative formats

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need information in an alternative format, send a secure portal message or email admin@quickvisitmd.com. We aim to acknowledge feedback within 5 business days and to remediate confirmed barriers within 30 days where feasible, and sooner when a barrier blocks clinical access.

Assistive technology support

The website has been tested with current versions of NVDA (Firefox), JAWS (Chrome), and VoiceOver (Safari on macOS and iOS). The intake flow and portal are operable without a mouse.

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party components — for example, the Stripe checkout iframe — are controlled by the vendor. Where such a component falls short of WCAG 2.1 AA, we will work with the vendor or provide an accessible alternative pathway on request.
