Price match program

If you find a lower price for the same service, we may match it.

QuickVisitMD is a self-pay practice that does not accept any insurance. We believe our pricing is fair and transparent — and we offer a voluntary price match program for equivalent telehealth services.

How it works

Here is how it works. Find another company that offers a similar self-pay online visit for the same kind of health concern, with the same speed of response, at a lower published price. Then send us a price match request before you pay for your QuickVisitMD visit.

We will check the other company’s price. If it meets the rules below, we will charge you that lower price for this one visit only. It does not change our regular price for any future visit.

Important

QuickVisitMD is a cash-pay practice — you pay us directly. We never bill your insurance: not Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, VA benefits, or any private plan. We also never file a claim for you. (If you have insurance, you can ask us for a detailed receipt, called a superbill, to send to your own plan yourself; see our pricing page.)

We only compare cash-pay prices from other licensed telehealth companies. A price based on insurance coverage never qualifies for a match, no matter how low it is.

Eligibility criteria

All of these must be true for your request to qualify:

  • The competing service must be a comparable self-pay asynchronous telehealth visit for the same category of concern treated by QuickVisitMD.
  • The competing price must be publicly listed or verifiable through a direct link, published price sheet, or good-faith estimate from the competing provider.
  • The competing service must be available to patients in Virginia or West Virginia at the time of your request.
  • The comparison must be for the same response-window tier (Standard, Priority, or Rush) or equivalent turnaround commitment.
  • Insurance-negotiated rates, employer-sponsored plans, government-program rates (Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, VA), subscription bundles, promotional introductory pricing, coupon codes, and referral credits do not qualify.
  • The competing service must be a licensed physician encounter, not a nurse-practitioner-only, chatbot-only, or AI-only service, unless QuickVisitMD's own service for that complaint uses the same model.

Exclusions

We cannot match a price in these cases:

  • Controlled substance prescriptions (schedules II–V) are not offered by QuickVisitMD and therefore cannot be price-matched. Ongoing medication management is offered only for a defined set of non-controlled conditions, under its own separate pricing (see Pricing), and is not eligible for this price-match program.
  • Custom paperwork, employer forms, FMLA documentation, and add-on services are excluded from the price match program.
  • Price match requests submitted after payment for a completed encounter are not eligible for retroactive adjustment.
  • QuickVisitMD reserves the right to verify any competing price before approving a match, deny requests that do not meet the criteria above, and discontinue or modify this program at any time without prior notice.

Submit a price match request

Complete this form before paying for your QuickVisitMD visit. We will review the competing price and respond to the email address you provide. Price match requests are reviewed promptly, usually within one business day.

Legal disclosure

In plain words: a price match is a courtesy, not a promise. We can say no to any request, and we can end this program at any time. A lower price never changes the medical decisions your doctor makes.

Price Match Available for Equivalent Self-Pay Visits. If you find a lower publicly advertised self-pay price for a comparable online physician visit, we may match it for eligible visits. Proof of competitor pricing is required before purchase. The visit must be comparable in service type, clinician credentials, state, and turnaround time. Excludes prescriptions, labs, facility fees, memberships, bundled plans, follow-up care, and private or limited-time offers. All visits are self-pay and insurance is not billed. Terms apply. Not available where prohibited by law.

This price match program is offered voluntarily by QuickVisitMD as a pricing courtesy and does not constitute a binding contract, warranty, or right to a specific price. QuickVisitMD reserves sole discretion to approve, deny, or modify any price match request and may discontinue this program at any time without notice.

A price match does not guarantee a diagnosis, prescription, treatment outcome, or any specific clinical result. Clinical decisions remain at the sole discretion of the reviewing physician regardless of the price paid. All terms of service, refund policies, scope limitations, and medicolegal disclosures stated on this website apply in full to price-matched encounters.

QuickVisitMD does not bill or accept assignment from any health plan — commercial, employer-sponsored, Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, Veterans Affairs, or any other government program — and does not submit claims on your behalf. Patients are solely responsible for payment at the time of service. Patients with commercial insurance or no insurance may request a superbill to seek out-of-network self-reimbursement from their own plan; reimbursement is plan-dependent and not guaranteed. Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE patients receive an itemized coded receipt only, because asynchronous online visits are a non-covered service under those programs.

If a price match is approved, the matched amount will be reflected in the Good Faith Estimate provided for the encounter, in compliance with the No Surprises Act requirements for self-pay and uninsured patients.
