Usually a good fit

• Common problems we review from your answers. Photos can help, too.
• A safe next step without an office exam or live visit.
• Adults must be in Virginia or West Virginia during the visit. You must be okay with care by message.
• Children 4–17 can get care for some conditions. A parent or legal guardian must be with them.

Your doctor may treat some stable long-term health problems or refill medicine after reviewing your case. It depends on what is medically right for you and the checks you need.

Examples: blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and thyroid. Also asthma, anxiety, depression and erectile dysfunction.

Not a fit: go in person instead

• Controlled substances of any kind.
• Problems that need a hands-on exam, in-person checks or in-person tests.
• Chronic pain care or scans (X-rays, MRIs).
• Disability or work leave forms (FMLA), or other formal paperwork.
• Emergency signs: chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting or severe dehydration.
• Signs of a serious infection or severe allergic reaction. Also any other unstable condition.
