Usually a good fit

• Common concerns for adults and children 4+ we can review from your answers and, when helpful, a photo.
• Issues where we can give a safe next step without an office exam or live appointment.
• Adults, and children 4+ with a parent or guardian, in Virginia or West Virginia who are comfortable with online, message-based care.

Not a fit — go in person instead

• Controlled substances of any kind.
• Chronic conditions or ongoing, long-term medication management. (A visit can include a short refill of a routine, non-controlled medication when it's safe.)
• Chronic pain management or imaging orders.
• Disability, FMLA, leave, or other formal paperwork.
• Emergency symptoms — chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting, or severe dehydration.
• Signs of a serious infection, a severe allergic reaction, or another unstable condition.
• Anything that needs a hands-on exam or a fuller in-person workup.
