Conditions

Conditions we treat online.

Pick what's closest to your symptoms. If something feels serious or is getting worse fast, see someone in person.

Skin

Simple rash or bug bites

Photo helpful

A good fit for photo review when the rash or bug bites are limited and not spreading fast.

Examples: Contact dermatitis, bug bites, hives, or an unexplained rash

Acne or breakouts

Photo helpful

A good fit for common acne or breakout concerns when there is no severe swelling, fever, or major skin infection.

Examples: Pimples, clogged pores, red bumps, whiteheads, or blackheads

Eczema flare or dry itchy skin

Photo helpful

A good fit for a typical eczema flare or dry itchy skin when there is no fever, pus, or widespread severe skin breakdown.

Examples: Dry itchy patches, red eczema flare, cracked skin, or recurrent dermatitis

Cold sores

Photo helpful

Quick review for a typical cold sore flare, with photos if helpful.

Examples: Lip tingling, typical clustered blister flare

Poison ivy / poison oak / poison sumac rash

Photo helpful

A good fit for a limited itchy plant rash when there is no facial swelling, severe blistering, or concern for a deeper skin infection.

Examples: Poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, linear itchy rash, or blistering rash after outdoor exposure

Ringworm, athlete's foot & jock itch (fungal skin infection)

Photo helpful

A good fit for a common fungal skin infection — ringworm on the body, athlete's foot, or jock itch — when there is no scalp involvement, heavy drainage, or another sign that it needs an in-person exam. The same topical antifungal treats all three.

Examples: Ringworm on the body, athlete's foot, jock itch, a circular scaly rash, or itchy peeling skin between the toes

Rosacea

Photo helpful

A good fit for common facial redness or rosacea-type bumps when there are no eye symptoms or vision changes.

Examples: Facial redness, flushing, visible small vessels, burning, or pimple-like rosacea bumps

Dandruff or itchy scalp

Photo helpful

A good fit for flaking, itchy scalp symptoms when there are no open sores, drainage, or rapidly spreading skin changes.

Examples: Dandruff, itchy scalp, seborrheic dermatitis flare

Hair loss (thinning hair)

Photo helpful

For adults with gradual pattern hair loss — thinning at the temples, crown, or part line. Topical minoxidil 5% for men and women, and finasteride 1 mg for men only, after screening and required photos.

Examples: Receding hairline, thinning crown, widening part line, gradual thinning on top

Skin renewal (fine lines or melasma dark patches)

Photo helpful

For adults who want prescription tretinoin for fine facial lines and texture, or tretinoin and azelaic acid for classic melasma — dark patches on both sides of the face — after screening and required face photos. Not available during pregnancy, while trying to conceive, or while breastfeeding, and never for lightening one specific spot.

Examples: Fine lines and sun-related texture change, melasma-type dark patches on both cheeks, restarting tretinoin you used before

Urinary and GYN

Bladder infection (UTI)

For adult women with simple bladder infection symptoms and no fever, back pain, vomiting, or pregnancy.

Examples: Burning when you pee, urgency, going often

Yeast infection

A good fit for classic adult yeast infection symptoms when the story sounds straightforward.

Examples: Itching, discharge, irritation, recurrent classic symptoms

Bacterial vaginosis

Best for BV-type odor or discharge symptoms in a nonpregnant adult when there is no pelvic pain, fever, or other higher-risk features.

Examples: BV-type odor, thin discharge, change in vaginal odor, or prior similar symptoms

Birth control pills

For adult women starting or restarting pregnancy prevention with the progestin-only pill (norethindrone 0.35 mg) after a full safety screen. Combined (estrogen-containing) pills are not prescribed through this lane because they require a blood pressure verified in person.

Examples: Start the mini-pill, restart birth control, switch from another pill

Delay your period

Short-course medication to postpone your period for a specific event — for healthy adults 18 to 49 with regular cycles, no chance of pregnancy, and no blood-clot risk factors.

Examples: Delay a period for a wedding, vacation, exams, or an event

Menopause vaginal symptoms

For women who are confirmed to be past menopause and have vaginal or urinary symptoms of menopause — dryness, irritation, or pain with sex — treated with low-dose vaginal estrogen. Whole-body (systemic) hormone therapy for hot flashes is not prescribed online, and any bleeding after menopause needs an in-person exam first.

Examples: Vaginal dryness, pain with sex, vulvovaginal irritation or burning, urinary urgency or repeated bladder infections from menopause

Other

Morning-after pill / emergency contraception

For pregnancy prevention after unprotected sex or birth control failure within the last 5 days.

Examples: Condom broke, missed pills, unprotected sex, or another birth control problem

ED medication

For adult men seeking a low-risk erectile dysfunction medication review when key heart and medication screens are negative.

Examples: Trouble getting or keeping an erection, or prior good response to ED medication

Premature ejaculation

For adult men who finish sooner than they want and want guidance on behavioral techniques and an over-the-counter numbing (topical anesthetic) option. No prescription is issued through this lane at launch. If you also have trouble getting or keeping an erection, that is treated first — use the ED medication option.

Examples: Finishing within about a minute (lifelong) or a bothersome new drop in timing, wanting stop-start/squeeze technique guidance or numbing-spray advice

Genital herpes (suppression or recurrence)

For adults with herpes (HSV) previously diagnosed by a clinician who want daily suppressive therapy or a short course for a typical genital recurrence — valacyclovir or acyclovir after screening. First-ever outbreaks always need in-person testing instead. For a single active cold sore flare on the lip, use the Cold sores option.

Examples: Daily suppression to reduce outbreaks and transmission, a typical genital herpes recurrence, restarting valacyclovir or acyclovir

Migraine attack medication (established diagnosis)

For adults 18 to 64 whose migraine was previously diagnosed by a clinician and whose current attacks match their usual pattern — acute attack medication such as a triptan you already tolerate, capped at 9 doses per month after a strict safety screen. We do not diagnose headaches online: any new, worst-ever, or changed headache needs in-person care instead.

Examples: Refill sumatriptan or rizatriptan you already tolerate, naproxen with attacks, nausea medication for attacks

Quit smoking (tobacco cessation)

For adults who smoke and want a physician-guided quit plan — combination nicotine replacement (patch plus lozenge or gum) for most, and bupropion SR when the safety screen and a recent blood pressure allow. Supplies come 4 weeks at a time, and a short check-in is required before every refill.

Examples: Ready to quit cigarettes, tried patches or cold turkey before, want a quit plan with medication support

Motion sickness & travel prevention

Prevent motion sickness before a trip — for healthy adults 18 to 64 who feel well right now and only want prevention, not an evaluation of current dizziness.

Examples: Cruise or boat travel, car or air sickness, prevention before a trip
