Flu
Flu usually starts fast. Most people get better at home in a few days to 2 weeks. Flu medicine works best when you start it within 2 days of your first symptoms. Some signs mean you need care right away.
Bladder infection (UTI)
A bladder infection is the most common kind of UTI. It often causes burning when you pee and a need to go often. Fever, back pain or throwing up can mean a kidney infection, which needs care in person.
Sinus infection
Most sinus infections come from viruses and get better on their own. Antibiotics help only some sinus infections caused by bacteria. Signs include symptoms that last more than 10 days, or a cold that gets better and then worse.
Pink eye
Pink eye is common and most often mild. Viral pink eye often clears in 7 to 14 days. Mild bacterial pink eye often clears in 2 to 5 days. Eye pain, light sensitivity or blurry vision need a doctor.
