Adult ADHD non-stimulant medicine review online

For adults 18 to 64 who were already diagnosed with ADHD by a licensed clinician and want a non-stimulant option. This visit does not diagnose ADHD for the first time.

Start a $59 online review for Adult ADHD (non-stimulant).

If a licensed clinician already diagnosed your ADHD, a physician reviews whether a non-stimulant option fits you. The physician may prescribe atomoxetine individually, an FDA-approved non-stimulant for adult ADHD that is not a controlled medicine. Stimulants are usually the first choice for adult ADHD, and this option never prescribes one; atomoxetine is for people who cannot or do not want to use a stimulant. No prescription is issued automatically.

If treatment is appropriate, your physician can send a non-controlled prescription to your pharmacy and provide portal instructions for the next step.

What happens next

Start the request on the website, answer a few questions to check that this visit fits you, and choose how fast you want an answer (the response window). If your concern still fits this service, a physician reviews it and sends you a secure update after you sign in. When appropriate, non-controlled prescriptions can be sent to your pharmacy, and a basic work or school note can be included at physician discretion.

Can this visit diagnose ADHD?

No. This option does not diagnose ADHD for the first time. If you were diagnosed, the physician may ask you to upload or describe the evaluation.

Can I get a stimulant through this visit?

No. This option never prescribes a stimulant of any kind, because stimulants are controlled medicines and this online option does not prescribe controlled medicines.

Why does the visit need a recent heart exam and blood pressure?

The atomoxetine label calls for a careful heart history and physical exam before starting. This online option cannot do that exam, so it relies on a recent one by your own clinician. Atomoxetine can also raise blood pressure and heart rate, so the physician needs a recent baseline.
