Online support for postpartum mood changes

For adults in the first 12 months after childbirth who have low mood, anxiety, or trouble bonding with the baby.

Start a $59 online review for Postpartum mood support.

You answer symptom questions adapted from the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale plus a safety screen, and a physician reads them. Depending on your answers you may get self-care guidance, a portal message with next steps or a question, or a same-day in-person or emergency referral. At the physician's discretion, an antidepressant chosen with breastfeeding in mind may be prescribed individually once your answers show no psychosis, bipolar history, or thoughts of harm.

If treatment is appropriate, your physician can send a non-controlled prescription to your pharmacy and provide portal instructions for the next step.

What happens next

Start the request on the website, answer a few questions to check that this visit fits you, and choose how fast you want an answer (the response window). If your concern still fits this service, a physician reviews it and sends you a secure update after you sign in. When appropriate, non-controlled prescriptions can be sent to your pharmacy, and a basic work or school note can be included at physician discretion.

Is this the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale?

The questions are adapted from the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale but are not the validated scale itself. A physician reads your answers; no score is calculated automatically.

Can I get a medicine if I am breastfeeding?

At the physician's discretion, an antidepressant chosen with breastfeeding in mind may be prescribed individually once your answers show no psychosis, bipolar history, or thoughts of harm. No prescription is issued automatically, and no benzodiazepine, sleep medicine, or stimulant is offered.

What if I need help right now?

Any thought of harming yourself or your baby, or any sign of postpartum psychosis, is an emergency and is never handled online. Call or text 988, or call 911.
